Around 600 drivers from various educational institutions took part in the one-day refresher training program for drivers organised by the Krishna district RTA. Houses and coconut trees in the vicinity face the threat of being washed away by the waves. Though the permanent protective wall is in a good condition, the boulders laid on the sand years ago are being washed away.

APSRTC Chairman on Sunday announced interim relief for employees as per the directive of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
